Bylaws
The membership of this church accepts the interpretation of biblical concepts as its authority.
These bylaws establish Key to Empowerment Life Church and Largo Homeless Outreach Ministries.
A. Name of the Church, Ministries and Corporation shall be Key to Empowermen Life Church and Largo Homeless Outreach Ministries.
The IRS Recongnizes our church as a 501c3 organization. All donations are tax deductible. Key to Empowerment Life Church and Largo Homeless Outreach Ministries shall be organized and operated exclusively for religious purposes within the meaning of section
501c3 of the Internal Revenue code of 1998.
B. All donations shall operate Key to Empowerment Church and Largo Homeless Outreach Ministries for charitable, educational and religous purposes. The main mission of Key to Empowerment Church and its ministry is to help home, feed, and clothe the needy.
C. On the dissolution of this church all assets shall go to a non-profit church which shall be voted on by the church council.
D. Services. We worship through various forms of ministries. We minister in partnership with other organizations, churches, ministries, and media. We minister in halls, parks and online.
E. Membership. All are welcome. All that is needed is to fill out a Membership Card online.
F. Termination is handled by member request or by the Board.
G. Board Members include: Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and three Board Members. All board members have one vote and terms are for 2 years.
H. Honorary Board Members have no voting rights and no set term limits. Honorary Board Members can be added at any time with three votes needed.
I. Church Founder. The founder shall be a life long appointment and can be passed on under the Probate laws of Florida or the United States of America or a legal will. The Founder cannot be removed by the board for any reason. The founder has one voting right and breaks all ties.
K. Payment and Payouts. All payouts over $500 must be approved by the Board and the founder with 3 or more votes. Any amount under $500 can be approved by the founder and one member.
L. Board meetings shall be held the first Monday of every month and must have no less then four members present or the founder and three members.
M. Donations. All donations must be deposited within the donation account.
N. Finances. All finances shall be reported to all Board Members.
